How to Use the Receiving Checklist & Dispute Functions

Additional instructions to optimize your ordering process by utilizing the ‘Receiving Checklist’ and ‘Dispute’ functions from within your ChefHero application.

You’ve just placed your first order with ChefHero and your order is scheduled to be delivered later this afternoon. A representative is present at your location to receive the delivery, or a lockbox has been set up in advance, but how will ChefHero ever know if you’ve received your delivery successfully? Luckily there are ‘Receiving Checklist’ and ‘Dispute’ functions available directly within your application! Use the ‘Receiving Checklist’ to confirm that all of your items have been successfully delivered, and are up to your high standard of quality. Use the ‘Dispute’ function to notify ChefHero of any unsatisfactory items you may have received.   

Utilize the 'Receiving Checklist' and ‘Dispute’ functions on your next delivery by following these 4 simple steps:

Step 1:  Select the Delivery

 ✔ On the day of your delivery, check the  ‘Today's Deliveries’  section at the top of your  ‘Order Desk’ .   ✔ Once the driver arrives, click the  ‘Review’  button next to your desired order.

Step 2:  Receive Correct Items

 ✔ Check off all the items you received in a satisfactory condition by clicking the circle to the right of the item.

If ever you receive an unsatisfactory item delivered to your location, you’re able to immediately report this to ChefHero by using the ‘Dispute’ function from within your ‘Receiving Checklist’.

Step 3:  Dispute Unsatisfactory Items

 ✔ Navigate to the item in question and click the  ‘Dispute’  button highlighted in yellow below the item’s image.   *Any and all disputes submitted in this manner will be reviewed by a ChefHero representative who will follow-up with you within 24-48 hours.    ✔ Outline exactly what was wrong with the item in the 'Notes' section that pops up.

*Any and all disputes submitted in this manner will be reviewed by a ChefHero representative who will follow-up with you within 24-48 hours.

Step 4:  Confirm The Delivery

 ✔ Once you've finished reviewing your order, be sure to hit  'Confirm Delivery'  to submit this to ChefHero.

✔ You've now successfully reviewed and confirmed your delivery, and informed ChefHero of any problems along the way!
